Serving together, becoming a better Yunling together.

A club people want to join, where expertise finds its place and worthwhile work continues.

The Yunling we hope for is a club where members enjoy gathering, newcomers find their place, and different professions respond to local needs together. From a weekly meeting to a long-term programme, we want to leave behind not only event records but methods others can understand, practise and continue.

Together

Gathering with belonging

Meetings are for exchange and learning; fireside gatherings and family activities let us know one another beyond job titles. We want members to balance Rotary with work and family, building the trust to serve together through easy companionship.

Participation with a place

Newcomers need not master every Rotary rule at first. Through exchange, learning and mentoring by senior members, each person gradually finds a fitting way to take part: sharing expertise, helping with reception, mentoring youth, joining service or supporting the Foundation.

Service with continuity

Understand the need before deciding how to act. For children, youth and families who need long-term support, we connect one-off activities into sustained companionship, using records, feedback and professional partnerships to learn what to continue and what to adjust.

Cooperation with roles

No single club must do everything alone. Member expertise, fellow clubs, medical teams, nonprofits and community resources complement one another: some give time, some give skill, some give resources, some support the Rotary Foundation. Every form of participation deserves respect.

Stories with substance

We want the public to see more than event names and group photos: why we act, who is involved, how service happens, what changed, and what comes next. Through the website, social media, video, people stories and service records, we keep what truly deserves to be seen.

Methods the next team can catch

Good methods deserve to stay: clear records, role divisions, activity logs, SOPs, annual context, handover-ready practices and improvable digital tools, so the next team need not start over. AI can organise information, cut repetitive work and help find answers; human judgement, relationships and responsibility remain the true core of Rotary.

Classes and family support

Slow Angels｜Sensory-integration group training

2026.09 → 2027.05

Yunling, Mailiao, Yunlin Tangdu and the Little Angels Development Association connect sensory integration classes, volunteers and families in Douliu. A class visit was recorded on 13 September and the parent observation form was completed on 15 September.

Annual plan: 30 children, 35 weeks, 3 groups, 105 sessions.

Reading support launched

LIGHT UP｜Reading support

2026–27

LIGHT UP launched on 24 September 2026, led by Mailiao Rotary Club with Yunling as a cooperating club, connecting NTNU SmartReading and six coastal Yunlin schools.
