Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunling
Based in Douliu, the Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunling was formed with guidance from the Rotary Club of Douliu and new-club adviser PP Bento. Shally served as charter president.

Our name begins with the heights of home.
“Yunling” draws inspiration from Yunlin’s highest peak. It reflects our sense of belonging and our hope to grow and broaden our horizons. Here, people of different generations and professions turn their strengths into practical care for children, young people and the community.
A mountain gains its height from layers of earth; a club gains its strength from every person who contributes. At Yunling, different generations and professions bring experience and enthusiasm to supporting children, young people and community life. We hope to see further by reaching higher, while remembering the ground beneath our feet and keeping every act of service close to people’s lives.

Six milestones
Organising began
With guidance from the Rotary Club of Douliu and new-club adviser PP Bento, the founding members began shaping a shared vision of service.
Founding information meeting
An information meeting introduced interested participants to Rotary and the new club’s direction.
The name “Yunling” was adopted
At the preparatory meeting at Riju Tunan, chaired by new-club adviser Bento, members formally adopted the name “Yunling”.
Membership threshold reached
Reaching the required membership count marked the next stage of preparation, not the date of formal approval.
Club formation approved
The Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunling received formal approval to form.
Charter presentation
Members and partners witnessed the charter presentation and the beginning of lasting service connections.
