Foundation & Impact · FOUNDATION & IMPACT

Our giving records and this year’s goals

Past giving first, this year’s goals next, then what the funds support.

Yunling supports The Rotary Foundation and the separate Chung Hwa Rotary Educational Foundation.

Three things made clear: past giving, this year’s goals, and what these foundations do.

What does each kind of giving support?

The Rotary Foundation (TRF)
Supports local and international Rotary service, including grants for projects and polio eradication.
Chung Hwa Rotary Educational Foundation
An independent Taiwanese foundation supporting education and culture.

Donations support the foundations; service projects can apply separately for grants.

After the handover, still side by side. Passing the baton is not one person stepping down, but one more person carrying the promise forward.

What service can grants support?

These are two projects Yunling participates in. Each has its own application, partner roles and progress.

Slow Angels plan review presentation

Slow Angels

Steady learning support for children with developmental delays, and breathing room for caregivers.

Yunling leads, jointly applied with partner clubs

Yunling, Mailiao, Yunlin Tangdu and the Little Angels Development Association connect sensory integration classes, volunteers and families in Douliu. A class visit was recorded on 13 September and the parent observation form was completed on 15 September.

  • 30 children (planned target)
  • 35 service weeks (planned target)
  • 105 group sessions (planned target)

Follow progress

Thank you for keeping goodwill going

Some lead the way, some walk every year, some begin with a very first gift. Different forms, the same willingness — all worth remembering.

Formal recognition

CP Shally and A.C. recognized as Paul Harris Fellows. Leading by example deserves respect.

Steady companions

Members with actual giving records in both the first and second years — walking together, year after year, is equally precious.

Annual shared thanks

Supporters who agreed to be named, anonymous givers, and every participant. A willingness to begin deserves welcome.

I was part of this journey.

Causes you can support

Supports Rotary grants and service projects.

PolioPlus

RECOGNITION · Recognition guide

Recognition is a record of impact

Pick a path first, then explore slowly.

Funds, grants and recognition: what is different?

Three questions, three answers. Tell them apart before reading on.

Funds

Where the money goes: Annual Fund, PolioPlus, Endowment. The direction of support.

Grants

How resources become service: Global Grants, District Grants. The channel of action.

Recognition

How giving is remembered: PHF, PHS, Major Donor, AKS and more. The record of a promise.

Behind every pin is not a number, but a record of service kept going.
Recognition is not privilege; it is the trace a promise leaves. From one gift to every year; from one person’s promise to a whole club’s shared impact.

The individual recognition journey

It begins with sustained annual giving and grows into lifetime commitment. PHS runs as a parallel annual-commitment path, not a rung on the cumulative ladder.

Donor and honoree may differ: receiving a PHF does not mean the person gave the full amount.

Learn more

A PHF answers “support added up over time”. A donor who reaches the threshold may accept the recognition in their own name or in another person’s name — for example, to thank a mentor. A PHF record shows the honor exists; it never invites guessing who paid what.
