[Yunling’s first strike and cadre inauguration] Sound the 2026-27 first gavel of the new year! 🔨✨
Dear Rotary family members and friends from all walks of life, stay safe!
With the enthusiastic participation and high expectations of all community members, Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunling's "51 regular meeting and president and cadre inauguration ceremony" was successfully completed on 7 month 8 day!
When President Chen Jianhua (P Jiu-Ji) rings the bell to start the meeting, it not only symbolizes the official start of social affairs in the new year, but also carries our enthusiasm for community service.
In addition to President Chen Jianhua’s inauguration speech that day, Douliu Club members and family members of Douliu Club, led by Deputy Assistant Director VAG Sakura, Guidance Club Douliu Club President Lin Jinliang P Morris, and the president’s family also came to the scene to give us the warmest blessings.
The strong combat power of the new year is also officially unveiled! Thanks to Secretary Lai Chan-sheng S/P.P. AC, Service Program Chairperson Chen Mingjie, I.P.P. Medicine, Administration Chairperson Ava Ding, Member Services Chairperson Zeng Xuhui Ai, Rotary Foundation Chairperson Zheng Yanling Cindy, Public Relations Chairperson Hung-yao Chen Jk, Finance Chairperson Ashely Chen, Youth Chairperson Louis and all the outstanding deacon cadre team, we are ready to go all out!
I was even more happy to welcome two honorary members, Cai Yuqi Kim and lawyer Liu Zhongqi, to join us that day. Let us relive the touch and joy of that night through this first review video, and join hands to "Create Lasting Impact" in the 2026–27 year!
Sharing the first situational question: the first time I met Rotary
Think back to the first time you saw community members from all walks of life and different age groups gathering together. What was the atmosphere of communication that made you most incredible or curious?
What advice would your group give this nervous young man? Which "spirit of tolerance" or "community characteristics" in our society can allow him to put down his guard and quickly integrate into everyone?
Think back to the first time you heard Rotary’s “Four Tests”, “PP/CP/Secretary/Picket” and other proper nouns, and “Fine/Red Box”, what are you most curious about or find most interesting?
Facing this new friend who is confused, which "Rotary trivia (noun/red box)" will your group choose and reveal it to him in the most interesting way?
When you first saw this traditional ceremony of "ringing the bell, singing the club song, standing up to salute, and straightening the suit", what was the most shocking or confusing thing in your heart?
Facing your boss friend, how do you use the most vernacular and down-to-earth sentence to explain to him why Rotary Club meetings have such a "ceremonial feel"?
