Rotary RYE Youth Exchange Program | Giving children the key to the world
"Rotary RYE (Rotary Youth Exchange)" is one of Rotary International's important youth service programs, providing young people aged 15–18 with opportunities to live and study abroad. Through studying with homestay families and local schools, children not only learn the language, but also play the role of "cultural ambassadors" to experience multiculturalism first-hand, cultivate international perspectives, and promote world peace and mutual understanding.
Rotary International youth exchange began in Europe in the 1920 era, resumed in 1946 after World War II, and rapidly developed into a long-term exchange program in the 1950 era. Since 1972, RI has been officially promoted to Rotary clubs around the world, becoming an influential international youth exchange platform.
This regular meeting specially invites Celin, President 北港宗聖扶輪社, to Yunling Club to give a special speech
Topic: RYE Youth Service Project
From exchange projects, application conditions, relevant regulations, to practical experience and pre-departure preparation, President Celin shared in-depth with his personal experience, so that community members can have a more complete and clear understanding of RYE. He also reminded everyone to prepare in advance to successfully obtain exchange qualifications.
Among the many Rotary youth service programs, the one-year long-term exchange is the most popular. This year is the best journey for children to learn independence, develop a sense of responsibility, and expand their worldview. It is also a precious gift that will last a lifetime.
