Yunlin Haixian Reading Education｜LIGHT UP! Illuminate reading ability
The same book may not be suitable for every child.
First understand your child’s reading ability, and then help him find the next suitable book. Only then can reading slowly turn from “homework” into an entrance to exploring the world. 💛
Good news! The global scholarship program "LIGHT UP! Illuminating Reading Power" sponsored by Rotary Club of Mailiao has been officially approved by The Rotary Foundation✅
This support is expected to bring to the rural children in Yunlin Haixian not just a reading activity, but learning opportunities that can continue to take root on campus.
On 8 day 24, we communicated with 台中明道中學林雯琪 deputy principal, cross-society partners and educators in the 麥寮高中 library, and used SmartReading intelligent adaptive reading to prepare children from three directions:
📖 See the starting point | Understand your child’s current reading ability and support adaptive learning.
👩🏫 Accompanying teachers | Through teacher training, reading teaching can be brought into daily classrooms.
🌱 Take root on campus｜Establish a school-based reading mechanism so that support does not stop when the activity ends.
Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunling is very happy to participate in this cross-social stream and work with partners to focus on the learning needs of local children.
Reading brings not only knowledge, but also understanding, reasoning, and the ability to bravely explore the world.
What we want to illuminate is not just a page of a book, but the next possibility for children. ✨
