【Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunling｜Preview of the 54 regular meeting】
Some scenery needs to be seen;
Some lives need a light.
On August 19, at the Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunling's 54th regular meeting, we will join our Rotary partners for the joint meeting of eight clubs in Yunlin Area 2, Rotary International District 3470.
This night, we invited director Qu Quanli, who has recorded Taiwan with images and touched countless people with his life stories, to share the theme:
🎬 "See the light, be reborn, and go out - start by changing yourself"
Director Qu Quanli, known as the "Fool Director", is a 3D dreamer who insists on using images to tell Taiwan's stories. He is also the founder of Meili Taiwan.
Over the years, he has used his lens to enter this land, recording faces, stories, and the beauty of Taiwan that deserves to be seen by the world.
But what really touches people is often not just the images.
It’s the person behind the image.
is a person who still chooses to move forward when faced with a turning point in life;
A person who is still willing to believe in hope in difficult situations;
Time and time again, after seeing other people’s stories, we see ourselves again.
Is there a speech that made you burst into tears?
Is there a story that makes you rediscover the truth, goodness and beauty in life?
Perhaps we cannot choose all encounters;
But you can decide what kind of person you want to be after the encounter.
To see the light is to see again.
Rebirth is a new choice.
Going out is to make change really happen.
This is also so close to the values Rotary believes in.
We serve the society, go into places, and care for people who need to be seen;
And every time we serve, we are quietly changing ourselves involved.
Therefore, a good Rotary meeting is more than just a get-together.
It can be a communication and an inspiration,
It even becomes an opportunity for a person to start changing.
On 8, 19, we look forward to gathering with our Rotary partners from the seven clubs in Yunlin District 2.
Through the lens of director Qu Quanli,
Seeing Taiwan, seeing life, and seeing myself again.
