🌏 Starting from Yunlin, I saw how Rotary brought service to Nepal
Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunling At the 52th regular meeting, we are honored to invite A.D.S Allen, Deputy Secretary General of Yunlin District, Wang Zhilin to share the "WCS Nepal International Service Plan".
Rotary’s service does not only happen where we live.
Through World Community Service (WCS), we can also cross borders and bring resources, expertise and actions to places where they are really needed.
In addition to learning about the Nepal International Service Project at this regular meeting, the "Rotary Sharing" that day also touched on a topic worth thinking about:
What is the difference between "participation" and "investment"?
Participation means showing up in activities; involvement means being willing to think more, do more, and even take the initiative to be the person who promotes things.
From participating in a regular meeting, serving a service, to actually putting your time, ideas and expertise into Rotary, everyone's investment will eventually become part of the club's continued progress.
Through communication and sharing among community members, we have a better understanding of:
Joining Rotary is not just about attending regular meetings, but also a group of people working together to turn ideas into actions.
🎥 Let’s review the 7/23 Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunlingth 52 regular meeting.
Thank you A.D.S Allen for coming to share, and thank you to every community member who attended, participated, and is more willing to join in.
