"Fireside Meeting─Extending warmth and friendship from tradition"
One afternoon in early winter in 1942, Paul Harris invited members of the Rotary Club of Chicago to gather around the fireplace at his home, Comely Bank, for an informal conversation. In that warm, relaxed setting, they discussed the club's future direction and left us the tradition of fireside meetings that continues today.
Nowadays, fireside meetings are no longer just for discussing the progress of social affairs but also for promoting friendship among community members. For Xinshe, such gatherings are an important part of establishing team chemistry.
Rotary Club of Yunlin Yunling has held three fireside meetings since its founding. Each time, we laughed and talked, getting closer to each other, chatting about the future direction of Yunling Society and gathering a common vision.
