Dear District Governor DG Aaron, ARC Pipe, CP Shally, all guests present at the meeting and all Rotarians and family members present, good night and hello everyone:
Thank you all very much for coming all the way today to participate in the awarding ceremony of Yunlin Yunling Society. To bear witness to this and to give you full blessings, thank you all!
On July 1, 2024, the first day of the new Rotary year, District Governor DG Aaron asked the Douliu club to help sponsor a new club. Douliu President P CAD convened an extraordinary board meeting. After discussion, every board member supported serving as the sponsor club, and a new-club organizing committee was formed immediately. During the joint official visit, DG Aaron presented a letter appointing 盧偉仁 PP Bento as the new club's adviser. On July 27, the committee held an introductory meeting at 鵝肉扁 restaurant. The first preparatory meeting took place at 日居圖南 on August 2; the second and third were held at 三好國際酒店. Throughout the preparations, friends from many fields offered support and recommended candidates. Adviser PP Bento, District New Club Development Committee Chair CP Shally and others visited each candidate, inviting people new to Rotary and from different professions to apply to join the Yunlin Yunling club.
Miraculous Rotary. CP Shally was deeply moved by seeing the sincere, harmonious and warm atmosphere among prospective club members in every gathering. He then decided to apply to the Huwei Central Club, where he originally belonged, to transfer to a club. He was willing to continue his relationship with this group of passionate Rotarians. After receiving the greatest blessing from the club’s board of directors, he agreed to his request. Following the election at the Yunlin Yunling Society meeting, CP Shally was unanimously praised by all the members present and was elected as the first president. After this, Yunlin Yunling Club, with the number of people reaching the required number, prepared relevant documents and formally applied to RI on 9 month 12 day. Finally, on 10 month 4 day, it obtained the approval letter and certificate and officially joined the ranks of Rotary International. The above is the process of establishing Yunlin Yunling Society, and I wish the society prosperity! Let us work together to improve lives through service.
Thanks to P CAD, President of the Guidance Club Douliu Club, all members of the new club organizing committee, and all club members and family members for their full support. Thanks to directors DG Aaron, PDG Supla, and PDG Carlton for their participation and encouragement along the way and for clarifying Rotary norms. Thank you for the greatest blessings from Huwei Central Club, as well as many silent companions and supporters. Because of you, Yunling Club can be successfully established. Thank you! Finally, I wish all the distinguished guests, community members and family members present today good health, peace and joy. Thank you all!
